Hyundai E&C will be the first Korean builder to issue NFTs to celebrate its 75th anniversary this year.

Hyundai E&C announced on May 25 that it will issue 750 NFTs to commemorate the company’s 75th anniversary, renewing its commitment to become a centennial builder in promoting values of challenge and innovation. The anniversary NFT, presented by Hyundai E&C with Sandbox Network, is a collaboration between the image commemorating the 75th anniversary of Hyundai E&C and Meta Toy DragonZ Sandbox Network's Metaverse PFP NFT project, sending a message that ‘Hyundai E&C is entering the Metaverse world.” Earlier on, Hyundai E&C signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sandbox Network, a digital entertainment company, for mutual exchange and cooperation in the NFT and metaverse sectors.

Hyundai E&C announced that the NFTs celebrating its 75th anniversary will be issued in three rarity - Gold, Silver, and Bronze- and provide differentiated benefits depending on the rarity. The Hyundai E&C NFT holders will be enjoy benefits related to Hyundai E&C’s NFT roadmap to be announced later, and minting (NFT issuance) will be held at 9:30 p.m. on the 25th through the URL of Hyundai E&C’s NFT website (hdec.metatoydragonz.io). Details such as the minting date and price can also be found on the website.

An official from Hyundai E&C said, "The issuance of NFT to commemorate the company’s 75th anniversary is meaningful in venturing into new areas by entering the NFT market for the first time in Korea,” adding that, “The company plans to present a young and pioneering image by taking on new challenge and transformation.”

The proceeds from the issuance of NFTs to commemorate Hyundai E&C’s 75th anniversary will be donated in full through consultation with related organizations.
